Massive amounts of discards with even more information for the recycled viewer.

Dear reader,

My day was uneventful: suffered through an eight page pH chem exam, analyzed a group 1-3 ion (LEAD ROCKS! PB and J :D) without blowing up Steffi then went hi-hoe-hi-hoe to work.

At work, I was left with loads of discards (oh, discarding in the library: get rid of the old and make some green!)--this means I have hours for mindnumbing marking and boxing to complete. Can I hear a "HOORAH"? Didn't think so...but I decided early on to make use of this time for thinking, as Pooh Bear does. You see, I think entirely too much about meaningless things and not enough about others. So I try to think "smarticle" during these hours.

As I was marking books, I noticed that one cart had a load full of books on...*drum roll*--HEALTH CARE REFORM! Make way for controversy; I haven't read enough (or hardly any is the better phrase) so forgive my ignorance in the following sentences. Now, all these M.D.'s, PhD's, etc had greatly analyzed our current system and some even dared to provide solutions to these problems. It really amazes me how people can think about all these things and put them into ONE, relatively small book (compared to the information!). Well, I'm a prideful person, so when I see these solutions, I immediately turn into a small child and start screaming (in my head, thankfully): I CAN DO DAT TOOO! Sad, but true--I love solving people's problems for them with altogether too simple solutions.I'm a simpleton  I think by nature. I don't like all these complex issues.

Now, being the simpleton, I began to think is so-and-so's solution really thee answer? After much deliberation, I had a thought: What if we took responsibility for our health? What if we prided our body in a healthy manner? I know we cannot help genetics and our history, but we can make the best of it. What if the people loved themselves enough to take care of their health? Hmmm, sounds selfish...or is it?

I love comments, so leave me some sweet sugah! :)
